Local Artists Release Tribute to London's Holiday Spirit in New Song "Merry Christmas London"

 

London, Ontario's vibrant local music scene is set to sparkle this holiday season with the release of "Merry Christmas London," a song that captures the magic of Christmas in the Forest City. The song is a collaboration by local artists under the banner of the Simple Reflections for Artists Collective. Featuring artists from 9 countries of origin, “Merry Christmas London” expresses love for London’s festive traditions while acknowledging the nostalgia of experiencing the holiday season far away from where you were born.

 

“Merry Christmas London” takes listeners on a musical journey through the holiday season, highlighting local traditions such as the lighting of the lights in Victoria Park, the wonder of the CN Holiday Train, and skating at Covent Garden Market Square.

 

"Merry Christmas London" was released as a single on all major digital streaming platforms on Tuesday, November 14th. The song will be performed live at the Covent Garden Holly Jolly Market on Saturday, December 16th, at 3 pm. 

 

Recorded at the Digital Creative Arts Centre, "Merry Christmas London" is part of an upcoming collaborative album, “Roots of London Fusion,” featuring 11 original songs of diverse genres. The album will be released with live performances at the London Music Hall of Fame on December 8 from 6 to 9 pm. Media is welcome to attend.
