Antonio Alas, who arrived to London from El Salvador in the 1980s, is the lead singer of the Antonio Alas Mariachi Band. He plays the accordion, requinto, guitar, and is the composer of several original songs. Antonio started playing guitar at the age of 10, and then began to master the technique for playing the requinto the accordion.
