Dave Pearson has been performing and teaching around London for the past ten years. Before arriving in London, Dave lived in Philadelphia, performing at venues such as Godfrey Daniels, The Keswick Theatre, The Mann Music Centre, TLA and the Tin Angel, shared stages with artists like Jorma Kaukonen, Earl Klugh, Chris Smither, Stanley Jordan, Tito Puente, Hugh Masekela, Peter White, Aztec Two-Step and the Moody Blues. 


Dave performs as a solo act, and in the duo Black Savanna with his wife Gillian Barker. . Dave’s style is influenced by John Fahey, Leo Kottke, and Peter Lang. He is known for the use of techniques combining percussive effects, harmonics, and “two-handed tapping.” . Dave plays fingerstyle and slide, on vintage six-string, acoustic lap steel, and harp guitars.
