Ji has been a passionate musician since the tender age of twelve, having begun his musical journey through self-teaching and eventually some private instruction. His vast skill set of guitar and vocal abilities have been a major focus of his, evidenced by his founding of the funk/rock/soul collective, Road Waves, in 2014 when he was only eighteen years old. Since then, he has released two full-length albums and multiple singles under the band's name, further solidifying his presence in the industry.

Ji has also left his mark in the agent world of booking and scheduling tours, having landed over one hundred shows for his band each year since 2017, proving his impressive network and ability to organize tours with high-value assures. His success has initiated a fulfilling career as a bandleader/musician, booking agent, record label executive, and producer. It is his gift of music, however, that has truly been the source of his success. From soulful guitar playing, jazzy improv techniques, and vibrant vocal capabilities, Ji brings boundless energy to every show and studio session. His music has been recognized both locally and internationally, earning him notable performances across Canada and USA. Ji continues to wow crowds and listeners to this day and shows no signs of slowing down.
